FAQs
Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: ID: Bring your current (non-expired) government issued ID. Refer to the “before your appointment” tab for details about what types of identification are accepted.
Payment: Confirm whether you’ll need to bring a payment to your appointment with your loan officer or escrow company.
Q: Will you be able to answer questions about my loan or real estate documents?
A: I am legally prohibited from answering questions about the transaction. I will be able to guide you through the documents and explain what they are, but I will not be able to explain the details specific to your paperwork.
Q: How long will the appointment take?
A: Every appointment varies depending on how many signatures are needed, however most appointments take around an hour.
Q: Where will the appointment take place?
A: As a mobile notary signing agent I am able to schedule the signing wherever is most convenient for you. The most common locations are the escrow office, the mortgage office, or at your home. We can also meet in a public setting, however we are reviewing documents that have your personal information so an office is preferred for your privacy.
